MFDs can continue to use CFP certificate for two more years to obtain RIA license from SEBI without appearing for NISM’s Investment Adviser examinations.
CFP certification will be valid from March 1, 2022 to February 28, 2024. The certificate is eligible to be renewed every two years subject to approval by NISM.
In a press release, FPSB said that NISM has renewed CFP certification program in India after reviewing their application.
