    Union, IDBI and NJ derive highest share of AUM from B-30 areas

    Baroda, Canara Robeco and UTI also has a comparatively high B-30 share in total AUM.

    While the top fund houses like SBI, HDFC and ICICI Prudential have the highest B-30 AUM, other AMCs like Union, IDBI, NJ and Baroda score better when it comes to B-30 share in total AUM, shows an analysis of monthly AUM data of top 30 fund houses.

    The analysis reveals that Union, IDBI, NJ and Baroda receive over 25% of their inflows from B-30 locations as against the industry average of 16%.  Canara Robeco, UTI, Quant, SBI, PPFAS, Mahindra Manulife, Franklin Templeton and Sundaram are other fund houses which have a comparatively high B-30 share in AUM (over 20%).

    In absolute terms, SBI, HDFC and ICICI Prudential have the highest B30 AUM. At Rs. 1.30 lakh crore, B30 AUM of SBI is far ahead of the competition. HDFC comes in at the second spot with an AUM of Rs. 68,570 crore.

    On the other hand, the AUM of Edelweiss, HSBC, IIFL, IDFC and DSP is heavily skewed towards T-30 locations with their B-30 AUM being below 10% of their overall AUM.
