The survey also shows that a smaller group of investors hold conflicting views - 2.4% of total respondents believe mutual funds are non-performers, 1.2% find mutual funds too complex and prefer staying away.
The findings are based on 2,458 responses across investor categories, of which women and millennial clients form 25% and 40% respectively. The survey shows that there is no major difference in how women investors and millennials perceive mutual funds.
Commenting on the survey, Prem Khatri, Founder & CEO, Cafemutual said, “Investors want their MFD/RIA to address their concerns in their way. The outcome of the survey will help MFDs/RIAs to understand investor perspectives better and customise their communication in line with what investors seek.”
