Nashik MFD Sachin Kharate of Varad Financial Services became a torchbearer of ‘Mutual Fund Sahi Hai’ campaign by taking it to the Sahyadari mountain range of Western Ghats.
Sachin is an avid trekker and has completed over 100 treks so far. He climbed 4000 feet to promote ‘Mutual Fund Sahi Hai’ campaign and spread awareness about mutual funds among people this time.
Holding ‘Mutual Fund Sahi Hai’ banner at a Sahyadari mountain, Sachin posted a video across social media platforms for people to educate them about volatility in mutual fund investments.
In the video, Sachin said, “Just like uneven hikes are integral part of trekking, investments in market linked products like mutual funds come with volatility. However, if you keep yourself calm and patient, you can hike mountains and reach your goals. This goes well with mutual fund investments too.”
Sachin further said that trekking and mutual fund investing both involve risks but the joy of reaching higher altitudes or achieving financial goals makes the journey worthwhile. He said that even a small step like doing SIPs in mutual funds can help investors ride volatility.
Sachin concluded his video by saying, “Trekking is good for physical wellness and SIP investing through mutual funds is good for financial wellness.”
Sharing his experience, Sachin said, “It was an incredible experience that words cannot describe. And holding the ‘Mutual Fund Sahi Hai’ banner enhanced the experience further.”
