The latest (April 2022) MFDex report shows that the average monthly SIP size through MFDs and direct plan distributors ranges between Rs.816 and Rs.8 lakh.
Among distribution firms (both regular and direct plan players), Privado Capital Ventures commands the largest average monthly SIP size of Rs. 7.80 lakh. Edelweiss Securities has the second highest average monthly SIP size of Rs. 2.10 lakh.
On the contrary, PhonePe has the lowest average monthly SIP size of Rs. 816. PNB, Bandhan Bank and a host of other distributors also have low average monthly SIP size of around Rs. 1,200.
Please note that we have taken only those MFDs and platforms into consideration who have an SIP AUM of over Rs. 10 crore.

SIP AUM
NJ India, SBI and HDFC Bank command the highest SIP AUM in the MF Industry.
NJ India has the highest SIP AUM at Rs. 36,600 crore. SBI and HDFC Bank have the next highest SIP AUM at Rs. 23,000 crore and Rs. 14,000 crore, respectively.
Similarly, Prudent Corporate Advisory and ICICI Securities were the only other distributors with SIP AUM in excess of Rs. 10,000 crore, shows the report.
