Volatility has always been the biggest challenge for investors, advisors and distributors. This is why it is so important for MFDs and RIAs to have a clear understanding of market volatility and the ways to manage investments during such difficult times.

Keeping this in mind, Franklin Templeton MF has launched an e-learning course on 'Managing Volatility and Pitfalls of Investing' for MFDs/RIAs. The course describes the ways to measure risk and volatility using tools like beta, maximum drawdown and standard deviation.

The course also describes the common mistakes investors make in a turbulent market and explains various steps to manage volatility. The course uses psychological theories like 'greed and fear' and behavioural biases like herding, loss aversion, overconfidence and hindsight to better impart the learning.

The one-hour long video course comes in an interactive learning format with downloadable handouts, knowledge checks and post assessment.

MFDs and RIAs can access the course by downloading Franklin Templeton MF's Academy App. You can know more about the app by clicking here. Or you can simply register here.
