George Heber Joseph has quit ITI Mutual Fund after being its CEO and CIO for almost four years, said the company statement.
Joseph was the chief of ITI Mutual Fund since its launch in 2019. He had joined the firm as CEO and CIO in 2018 after spending a decade with ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, where he was a senior fund manager.
Hitesh Thakkar, Chief Operating Officer will be the acting CEO of the fund house with effect from August 1, 2022.
The fund house also announced joining of Dhimant Shah who has over two decades of experience in the fund management business. In the past, Dhimant has worked with Principal MF, HSBC MF, Reliance MF and ASK Group.
Currently, the fund house manages AUM of Rs.2827 crore of which Rs.1978 crore is in equity funds.
