    NJ Mutual Fund appoints Bijon Pani as CIO

    In the past, Bijon has worked as a portfolio manager of a quant fund.

    NJ Mutual Fund has appointed Bijon Pani as its Chief Investment Officer.

    Prior to this, Bijon worked as a portfolio manager of an AI/MF quant fund. He has worked with Barclays Capital (London), Eden Financial Services (London) and Yati Capital (London).

    With over a decade of experience in the financial and investments space, Bijon has expertise in developing and leveraging on factor-based models, quantitative research, and portfolio management, said the company release.

    Bijon has a Doctorate in Finance from EDHEC Business School in France, a Masters in Finance from London Business School, a Masters in Computer Science from Oxford University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Utkal University, India.

    Bijon has also been a visiting professor and researcher in Finance at XLRI.
