Agra Mutual Fund Distributors Association (AMFDA) recently carried out a blood donation and health checkup/OPD consultation camp with the support of Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund.
The camp aimed to support MFDs and their families in case of any emergency.
As many as 68 MFDs including a few employees across fund houses participated in this blood donation while over 80 MFDs and MF employees benefited from the free health camp and OPD consultation.
Akhil Khandelwal of AMFDA said that the camp aimed to extend support to MFDs and MF officials during difficult times. “Generally, blood banks give one unit of blood against one donor. In our case, any Agra MFD or MF official can get multiple units of blood through the blood bank during difficult times.”
Nikhil Khandelwal, President, AMFDA, Abhimanyu Kumar, Cluster Head, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund and members of MFD Valley were also present during the camp.
