The NPS industry has recently started their trade body - the Association of NPS Intermediaries (ANI).
Dr. Deepak Mohanty, Chairperson, PFRDA, with M Nagaraju, Secretary - Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, formally inaugurated the ANI.
The primary objectives of the association are:

Promoting NPS as a reliable, flexible, and tax-efficient retirement product

Focusing on subscriber welfare by ensuring smooth and transparent processes within the system

Collaborating with regulators and policymakers to improve the NPS framework and contribute to developing the pension market in India.
