AMFI recently announced the winners of AMFI Partners in Excellence Awards to recognize mutual fund distributors and investment advisers for their business performance at a recent event in Mumbai.
The Partners in Excellence awards felicitated individual MFDs, RIAs, banks, NDs, regional distributors and women MFDs. AMFI gave these awards based on five criteria.
- New Investor Addition
- Addition of New Women Clients
- Net Sales
- Growth in SIPs
- Most Enterprising New Intermediary (joined in past 2 years)
The award categories include:
- Most new PANs added
- Number of women investors added
- Net Sales – Equity and Hybrid
- Net Sales – Long Term Debt
- Net SIP Book
- Fresh number of SIPs
- Super Starter in each Zone (For Individual MFDs, RIAs and women MFDs.
Further, for individual MFDs, the awards are given for six geographical zones. The first three zones cover the T30 cities. Zone 1 includes the top 5 cities, Zone 2 includes the next 10 cities (6-15), Zone 3 includes the next 15 (16-30). The next three zones cover the smaller cities: Zone 4 covers B30 cities, Zone 5 covers the 30 cities following the B30 cities and Zone 6 covers the rest of India.
