Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance has launched Zindagi Protect, a term insurance plan that offers ‘premium break benefit’ to enable policyholders to skip premium payment for up to 8 years based on pre-determined conditions.
“The feature allows the policyholder an option to select premium break which gives them flexibility to skip up to 8 premiums depending on the premium payment and policy term,” said the company.
The policy also offers two other features - child’s future protect benefit and better half benefit.
While the former allows policyholder to increase their life cover for the period until their child turns 25 years, the latter offers policyholder to provide a life cover for their spouse after the policyholder’s death without any future premium requirements.
Policyholder can buy coverage up to 100 years of age.
