This Diwali, cherish and reassure existing client relationships by gifting them something unique. To help you identify interesting gifting options, Cafemutual spoke to MFD friends and collated some innovative ideas.

Here are four meaningful and different gifting options to impress clients of all tastes.

Aromatherapy products for a therapeutic experience

Giving the idea credit to his wife Eesha Gupta, Agra MFD Shalab Gupta Bibhab of Bibhab Capital spoke about the modern concept of aromatherapy products.

He has designed a hamper with aromatherapy products like incense sticks, handmade soap and fragrance bar. The idea was to gift clients a therapeutic experience in an otherwise busy life. Also, Shalab placed an incense stick holder and two jars of organic honey.

Eco-friendly products with a touch of tradition

Puja, mithai and patake form a significant part of Diwali celebrations. Supporting an eco-friendly, sustainable and traditional celebration, Agra MFD Shifali Satsangee of Funds Ve'daa told us about charcoal free/tulsi incense sticks, incense dhoop and mithai and pataka planters i.e. planters in the shape of mithai and pataka.

Shifali also shared that dhumin fumers (metal mist diffuser) keep us close to our traditions and make an interesting gifting idea.

Handmade products for an apno wali feeling

Delhi MFD Preeti Mittal of RK Stockholding recommends handmade products to encourage local artisans and create an ‘Apno wali’ feeling. When a family member makes a handmade gift, it makes us feel special. Likewise, a gift from a local artisan carries similar emotions.

For this, Preeti picked up a jute bag and placed inside it diyas, jute door hanging and lotus motifs. Also, she thoughtfully replaced conventional sweets with khatti meethi imli.

Making Money Through Mutual Funds for gifting financial literacy

Ujjain MFD Vaibhav Bansal shared that the gift of financial literacy is the most priceless. He spoke of Cafemutual’s Making Money Through Mutual Funds.

Vaibhav said that the book comprehensively covers mutual fund investing aspects and answers all investor queries in simple words. He also made a special mention of the ‘Frequently Asked Questions on Mutual Funds’ chapter as the book’s unique feature. Further, he said that the ongoing gifting discounts on Making Money Through Mutual Funds are like icing on a cake.

    Quick gifting tips

Gifts create a powerful recall value; thus opt for something that can be conveniently placed on a table/shelf and stays in the vision of clients. Also, decide on something useful that can add value and match their tastes.

Do give that personal touch by penning down a handwritten note in your words. And lastly, make use of a box/bag/wrapping paper to add a surprise element.
