Here are three proven and cost-effective ways to promote SIP drive.
Video promotion
You can shoot your video and share it with your clients and prospects through social media. Here are three simple tips to make your video attractive:
- Content - You may look at creating educational content like benefits of SIP, identification and prioritisation of financial goals, the importance of financial freedom and so on. Integrate your SIP drive smartly with the script
- Shoot specifications - Choose a non-distracting background, preferably a clean wall in a well-lit room. While talking, look straight into camera lens and limit hand gestures. Given the limited human attention span, keep the video length shorter preferably up to 1 min
- Dress code - Wear smart formals that do not blend with your background. Avoid stripes, polka dots, plaid and other patterns, they create a weird wavy effect that is uncomfortable to watch. Also, avoid brightly coloured clothes. Women MFDs may consider wearing subtle make-up and simple jewellery

Using a hashtag and a tagline make posters more effective. Hashtags expand online reach while taglines stay with investors. Also, incorporate a call to action like ‘Call XXXXX XXXXX for more details’ or add a hyperlink.
- Design - Avoid using too many elements and use the space wisely. Ensure readability by using appropriate text font, style and size. Play with colours. Good use of contrast increases the visual appeal.
Taglines
