Mittal will manage two schemes -- Principal Near-Term Fund - Conservative Plan and Principal Cash Management Fund
Mumbai: Principal Mutual Fund has appointed Akhil Mittal as the key personnel of Principal PNB Asset Management Co. He has been designated as Fund Manager - Fixed Income for two of its schemes namely -- Principal Near-Term Fund - Conservative Plan (an open ended debt scheme) and Principal Cash Management Fund (an open ended liquid scheme).
Akhil Mittal is aged 30 years and holds B.Com, MBA (Finance and Marketing) as his qualification. Akhil has more than 6 years of experience in Fixed Income Markets, Interest Rates and Treasury Management.
Prior to joining Principal Mutual fund, he was associated with Canara Robeco Asset Management Co. as Fund Manager-Fixed Income for over 2 years. His previous assignments include Treasury Management at Edelweiss Securities and Rallis India.
