A stock broking and mutual fund distribution firm Quant Capital is likely to foray into asset management business soon with the acquisition of Escorts Mutual Fund, said two sources privy to the development.
An official from the company has confirmed that the company will announce this development by next week.
AMFI data shows that Quant capital had assets under advisory of Rs.520 crore as on March 2017.
Escorts Mutual Fund has an AUM of Rs.245 crore as on December 2017.
