In order to mark the second anniversary of ‘Financial Advisor Day’, Edelweiss Mutual Fund has introduced an online search engine for investors ‘Find an Advisor’ through which they can locate distributors near their geographical location.
Investors can search for individual MF distributors by visiting www.edelweissmf.com. They can explore ‘Find an Advisor’ on the top right corner (beside ‘InvestNow’) and enter their area pin code. The system will display a list of individual MFDs near them. Distributors will also get details of the investors who show interest in connecting with them.
The fund house has introduced two more digital initiatives for advisors #SeekAdvice and Josh Talks. While #SeekAdvice is a twitter Q&A where investors can ask questions on mutual funds and advisors along with the fund team will be answering these questions in video format, Josh Talks is a partnership with one of India’s largest talk platforms to share stories of advisors in a TED like format.
Radhika Gupta, CEO, Edelweiss AMC feels that the initiative will help individual MFDs generate new leads. She said, “This year, the times are both unique and uncertain. Amidst all this, what is certain is, that the advisor’s role has never been more important – in standing by investors, and helping them stay the course. Good times and good markets have many friends, but when the portfolio bleeds red, and markets move hundreds of points in a day, only a real friend, and a trusted advisor is there, to say, ‘Don’t worry, I am always there’.”
Edelweiss Mutual Fund has been celebrating March 31 as ‘Financial Advisors Day’ since 2019.
