SBI MF introduces digital helpline number for distributors relying on physical transactions

Distributors can simply call SBI MF to execute transactions.
    Vidyut Deshpande Apr 22, 2020

Keeping in mind the discontinuation of physical transactions in mutual funds during nationwide lockdown, SBI MF has introduced a digital helpline number for distributors relying on physical transactions.

With this, distributors can call the fund house at the digital helpline number and share the details of clients and transactions. Post this, the fund house will share payment link with distributors through email, WhatsApp and SMS which they can further send to their clients to execute transaction in mutual funds. Investors can verify details and transact in MF schemes through one time mandate or netbanking.

Digital savvy distributors can create such a URL on their own by visiting SBI MF’s partner app.

Kolkata MFD Nikhil Bihani of SKCL Wealth Management feels that this facility ensures business continuity for distributors relying on physical transactions. “When I came to know about the discontinuation of physical transaction in mutual funds I was disappointed.  However, SBI MF has resolved this issue for non tech savvy distributors. I just need to call digital helpline and share details of clients and schemes to execute transactions.”

Seconding his views, Ahmedabad MFD Deepesh Arora said, “Many clients have shown their interest to invest in mutual funds post decline in markets. The digital helpline facility has helped me execute these transacations.”

You can call the fund house at 61793580, 61793581 and 61793192 or email at digitalsupport@sbimf.com or contact your relationship manager.
