    Investor risk assessment firm Syntoniq appoints Harsha K as MD, India

    Harsha, who has led the digital platforms of Axis MF and PGIM India MF, feels that while there may be several risk assessment tools that exist in the market, their unique behavioral approach to risk brings a new dimension of understanding to both the client and distributors.

    Harsha K has been appointed as the Managing Director of Syntoniq’s operations in India. Syntoniq is a B2B tech firm that helps advisors and distributors analyze their clients’ behavioral biases and blind spots. Currently, it operates in the US and Canada.

    When asked about why they are venturing into India, Brian Pasalich, Co-founder and CEO, Syntoniq, said, “We see phenomenal opportunities in India as it is at a fabulous inflection point in its growth story. All our key target segments such as financial advisory, banking, asset management and insurance are growing at a tremendous pace here. The level and openness to technical adoption is also far ahead of most matured western markets. So, this makes India a perfect place for us to be in.”

    Harsha has headed digital platforms of Axis MF and PGIM India MF. He also has the experience of working in L&T MF and Fidelity International.
