In an effort to boycott Chinese goods and spread the word for desi products, Bajaj Capital has launched a campaign to promote ‘vocal for local’.
The campaign encourages people to take a pledge to use products and services which are ‘Made in India’ by signing in a declaration that says, ‘I Pledge to Buy Local and Be Vocal for Local’.
In just two days of launch, Bajaj Capital has collected more than 10,000 pledges from its employees and clients.
In a press release, Rajiv Bajaj - Chairman & MD, Bajaj Capital, said, “We pledge to build ‘Self- Reliant India’ call by our revered Prime Minister - Shri Narendra Modi, by promoting ‘Jan Dhan’, guiding the common man of India to save, protect, and invest in Indian capital, debt, and insurance markets, creating economic prosperity for the nation and themselves. We will guide people of India for happy ‘Ayushman’ retirement and take care of their financial and total well-being, by relying upon our rich ancient wisdom. We pledge to create newer employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, encourage local vendors and start-up technologies.”
