Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund has appointed Navin Agarwal as the new Managing Director and CEO of the fund house. Agarwal was the Managing Director, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, said the company press release.
Aashish Somaiyaa has decided to move on from the post of MD & CEO of Motilal Oswal AMC in pursuit of his personal aspirations to work for a start-up.
Navin Agarwal has been with Motilal Oswal group for over 20 years and has been instrumental in developing the entire portfolio of his company’s businesses. On behalf of the board, he had also been overseeing the AMC business closely for the past 2 years.
The company further informs that the board has approved the appointment of Rajat Rajgarhia as the Whole-time Director & Designated Director of Motilal Oswal Financial Services, subject to approval of the shareholders and stock exchanges.
