Most Indian billionaires are Cancerians and Virgos, shows the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2020.
While Cancerians contribute 10% to the list of richest Indian billionaires, Virgos contribute 9.6% to the list. Shiv Nadar, Founder of HCL Technologies, among top billionaires is aCancerian while Shapoorji Pallonji Mistry, Chairman of Shapoorji Pallonji Group is a Virgo.
These top two zodiac signs were followed by Gemini (9.5%) and Aries (9.3). Billionaire Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, Chairman of Arcelor Mittal and Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries are Gemini and Aries respectively.
Further analysis of the data shows that Aries individuals registered 55% increase in cumulative wealth this year, followed by Scorpions at 52%, Pisces at 35%, Capricorn at 33% and Cancer at 30%.
Further, the report shows Gemini had a bad year. “Some of the notable Gemini entrepreneurs include Anil Ambani (who dropped out of the list last year),” said the report.
The report identified 828 wealthy individuals while adding 162 new individuals to the list this year, recording a cumulative wealth growth of 20% or Rs.10 lakh crore compared to last year.
