PFRDA has revised the cut-off time for NPS subscribers to 9:30 am from 8:30 am earlier.

With this, any contributions received till 9:30 am on any working day will be given the same day NAV. However, such a contribution has to receive at Trustee Bank account before 9.30 am. Transactions execution post 9.30 am will get next working day NAV, clarified PFRDA.

Last month, PFRDA had introduced the D-Remit facility to enable systematic deposits like SIPs. Under this facility, NPS subscribers can transfer the money from their bank accounts to NPS accounts through bank mandate, NEFT and RTGS before 8.30 am to avail same day NAV. The minimum contribution through D-Remit is Rs.500. Subscribers can opt for any frequency - daily, monthly or quarterly.

“D-Remit not only eases the mode of deposit of voluntary contributions by the subscribers but would also optimize the investment returns by providing the same-day NAV on the investments,”said PFRDA.

Your clients can use D-Remit facility by generating a virtual ID with the help of Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN). They can generate this ID by keying in OTP sent their registered mobile number on the Central Recordkeeping Agency (CRA) website.
