Mutual fund distributor Parimal Seal passed away on Tuesday due to coronavirus.
The Kolkata MFD, who was in his late forties, is survived by his wife and three-year-old daughter, said MFD Goutam Karmakar, a close friend of Seal.
He was a part of the industry for over a decade.
"Very sad news for all of us. So hard to believe that he left us. He will always be remembered in our hearts and memories. May the departed soul rest in peace. Deepest condolences to the family," said Karmakar, who is director of ICAA, a Kolkata-based association of financial advisors. Seal was a member of the association.
