AMFI has revised the list of T30 cities with pin codes. It has added Allahabad and Varanasi, two cities of Uttar Pradesh to the top 30 cities. The industry body has also removed Raipur (Chhattisgarh) and Aurangabad (Maharashtra) from T30 cities.

Since 2019, AMFI issues a list of T30 cities along with their pin codes to bring uniformity across R&T agents and AMCs to map B30 transaction for additional payouts.
In order to get their B30 incentives, distributors have to ensure that the pin codes given in MF folios match with those in the KYC form. However, transactions with missing or invalid pin code are considered as T30 transaction.
