Baroda Mutual Fund and BNP Partibas Mutual Fund have recieved SEBI's approval for merger. The new fund house will be named Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund.
Baroda MF’s AAUM for quarter ended December 2021 was at Rs.12769 crore and for BNP Paribas AMC the number stood at Rs 9117 crore.
As a result, the new entity will have AUM of over Rs. 21,000 crore. The fund house has moved three spots up by surpassing PPFAS, LIC and PGIM to become the 20th largest fund house in terms of AUM.
