Edelweiss Mutual Fund celebrated the Financial Advice Day on March 31 with a host of activities focussing on thanking MFDs.
One such activity was sending standees to over 100 individual mutual fund distributors with their photograph printed on it along with a message which reads like this - 'Kya Mast Kaam Karte Ho' (You do a fantastic job for people). The fund house has also prepared these banners in regional languages for MFDs based in non-Hindi belt.
The fund house has also released a video to thank MFDs and RIAs on this occasion.
Another activity was arranging a thank you message for MFDs from their investors. In this activity, the fund house sent an email to investors urging them to write a message for their MFDs for being their financial guide.
"Four years ago, we started this day (Financial Advice Day) to recognise the entire fraternity of mutual fund guides — our distributor and advisor community — that takes mutual funds to every part of the country. Thank your financial guide today!" Radhika Gupta, the CEO of Edelweiss MF said on Twitter.
“This year we have sent emails to all our investors asking them to thank their MFD for their guidance by sending a personalized message. And we are glad to see a large number of investors thanking their MFDs using our automated email reply facility,” said Niranjan Avasthi, Head – Product, Marketing & Digital Business.
Edelweiss MF has been celebrating March 31 as Financial Advice Day for four years now. Last year, Edelweiss and Nippon celebrated the occasion through video messages and short films to stress on the importance of MFDs.
