To celebrate the National Doctor’s Day on July 1, Sapient Wealth Advisors, one of the largest MF distributors and Symphonia, an ecosystem for growth oriented mutual fund distributors have urged doctors to counsel their patients that they should deal with experts to make investment decision.

The idea is to communicate that self-medication based on knowledge acquired through social media may put their health at risk.

In addition, they have requested doctors that they should rely on experts to manage their personal investments. “Just like doctors do not like their patients to follow self-medication when it comes to health, doctors should also avoid taking investment decision on their own,” said the company.

It all started 15 days back when both the companies decided to thank doctors who have made significant difference in their client’s lives. They launched a survey in which they asked their clients to nominate a doctor who they think have created a difference in their lives.

Both the firms received collectively over 500 names from clients across Amravati, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Pune and other locations.

Relationship Managers at Sapient Wealth and Co-Founders at Symphonia Wealth met these doctors physically to express gratitude on behalf of their clients by handing over a token of appreciation and gratitude.
