Over 35 MFDs from All Mutual Fund Distributor Welfare Association (AMDwA), Delhi have contributed more than Rs.3 lakh to Lucknow MFD Vishal Malhotra who has been battling cancer since 2019.
Every member of the association contributed in the range of Rs.500 to Rs.10,000.
Sanjay Bhan, President AMDwA believes that his association stands for welfare of MFDs. He said, “Each MFD is like our family member. Helping Vishal was our duty and we would continue to do so in the future.”
MFD Vishal Malhotra, currently, undergoing treatment in Tata Memorial Hospital is in urgent need of funds for further treatment. He was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2019 and has undergone three surgeries so far.
Vishal is the sole breadwinner and has a 79-year-old mother, wife and a 10-year-old son to look after. He confessed that his business income is negligible now.
