    Which fund houses have the highest AUM in T30 cities?

    Over 80% of MF industry AUM comes from T30 cities.

    Cafemutual’s analysis of AUM data of AMCs shows that SBI MF, ICICI Prudential MF and HDFC MF are the biggest players in T30 cities.

    The largest fund house of the country, SBI MF also has the highest AUM in T30 cities at Rs. 8.72 lakh crore.  It derives 77% of its total AUM from the top 30 cities in September 2024.

    ICICI Pru MF is second with Rs. 7.24 lakh crore AUM coming from the top 30 cities. HDFC MF comes third in the list with a T30 AUM of Rs. 6.26 lakh crore. Both ICICI Pru MF and HDFC MF see over 80% of their total AUM coming from top cities.

    Nippon India MF is fourth on the list with an AUM of Rs. 4.45 lakh crore from the top 30 cities. Kotak MF rounds off the top 5 with a T30 AUM of Rs. 4.22 lakh crore.

    Other players in the top 10 list with high T30 AUM include Aditya Birla Sun Life MF, UTI MF, Axis MF, Mirae Asset MF and DSP MF.

    In terms of proportion of T30 assets to the total AUM, Trust MF has its highest proportion of assets coming from T30 cities at 95%.

    Second in the list is Edelweiss MF, which has 94% of its AUM from T30 cities. Helios MF with 93% share of its AUM from T30 cities.

    Other fund houses with high proportion of T30 AUM includes 360 ONE MF, Zerodha Capital MF, Old Bridge MF, Bandhan MF, JM Financial MF, Invesco MF and Taurus MF.

    Overall, over 80% of the MF industry AUM comes from T30 cities. The T30 AUM of the MF industry is at Rs. 54.97 lakh crore.
