A group consisting of 20 MFDs from Chennai and 2 MFDs from Delhi travelled all the way to Baku, Azerbaijan, to hoist AMFI’s Mutual Funds Sahi Hai flag in Gabala.
These MFDs believe that the campaign unites them with the single objective of raising awareness about mutual funds.
This group, led by Chennai-based MFD Vivek Karwa of Vridhi, planned the trip exclusively for MFDs.
Vivek told Cafemutual that traveling can rejuvenate people and help them perform better at work. He mentioned that since the mutual fund industry no longer offers rewards and recognition in foreign destinations, he, along with several other MFDs, arranged this trip on their own expenses so that fellow MFDs could learn, network and take a break from their busy schedules.
The 8-day trip ends today. Vivek aims to encourage more distributors to participate in such knowledge events.
