ICICI Prudential AMC, has announced the appointment of Anish Tawakley as Head of Research. He will be reporting to the CIO, S Naren.
In a press release, Nimesh Shah, MD & CEO, said, “Anish comes with immense knowledge in research in financial sector. Coupled with his experience of working across many financial firms, he will play a critical role in strengthening our existing research capabilities and investment processes both on equity and fixed income side”.
Prior to joining ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Anish Tawakley was the Head of Barclays’ Asia ex Japan (AEJ) sell side financials sector research team with direct coverage of Indian financials. Past experience includes buy side analyst and global sector PM at Bernstein, and management consultant at McKinsey.
Anish is an MBA graduate in Finance and Economy (gold medallist) from IIM Bangalore. Prior to this, he pursued Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi.
